The Creative Coalition combines mindfulness and play to build internal reserves and adaptive capacity. Unlike a regular game night or DnD/Pathfinder session, I offer imagination practice outside of quantifiable systems, resulting in nervous system regulation and stronger coalitions.

We cannot build what we cannot imagine.

We give each other permission to try, to be "unserious," to spend time cultivating collective curiosity. Whether you're new to play or more accustomed to win/lose structures, you'll be challenged in the best of ways.

Why games?

Because play happens when failure, loss, grief, and love are equally acceptable possibilities. The games I choose and create offer just enough structure for your mind to (generatively) wander and return to here and now.

You don't need experience with games or storytelling. You just need to show up.

What games?

I use or modify lightweight storytelling games that exercise dialogue, co-creation, and collaboration. I avoid, refrain, or adapt “crunchy” mechanics. Games I’ve previously run or adapted include

About me

I've studied games, play, and interaction for over two decades, merging this with public facilitation and meditation practice. I've created containers for fire-affected groups, trauma survivors, unhoused populations, and gaming communities to introduce mindful speech, listening, and intentional pausing. This work gives me life!

Games I’ve created:

Praise for The Present:

"The Present is a lovely solo game about supporting your younger self. The compassionate tone in which the text is written helps convey a sense of acceptance and security, which are pivotal when creating a game around such a theme. [...] The Present is a heart-warming game that absolutely nailed its execution."

— Marta "Minakie" Afonso, Designer of Hang In There, Little One

"It was such a powerful reminder of how creativity, play and joy can heal our hearts. [...] I drew the things that light me up - travel, flowers, and family, and wrote to my inner child: keep being curious and excited, without attachment to the outcome. 🌸

It was tender, freeing, and deeply healing. Thank you, Logan, for creating such a safe, creative space. 🙏"

Typical Structure:

Before we begin, I’ll conduct an intake to discover what kind of intentional work you’re looking to play with. From there, we’ll co-create an experience for your crew.
